A sponsored bike ride involving 2000 cyclers - 220 from the Dulux Trade team - raised more than £100,000 for the Outward Bound Trust.
The Dulux team included Alistair McAuley, recently voted bira charitable champion of the year. Mr McAuley and his team rode 185 miles in the 'London Revolution' ride, which took two days. The iconic ride, linking the North and South Downs and cutting through the heart of London, was recently voted sixth best cycle ride in the world.
The Outward Bound Trust helps young people from all walks of life develop using the outdoor environment, through numerous outdoor centres across the UK.
Explained Mr McAuley: "Our whole ethos is about adding a sense of fun to the world of cycling and making it accessible to everyone."
Dates for next year's ride will be confirmed shortly - everyone from the industry is invited to join Mr McAuley and the Dulux team, made up of employees, suppliers and customers.
