D.W. Nye to expand its premises

The independent Sussex builders’ merchant has started major expansion works at its Kingsfold depot, near Horsham.
The improvements will see the addition of a brand new warehouse and office facility to cater for D.W. Nye’s growing customer base. Large sections of the company’s storage area have already been levelled to make way for the new facilities and construction is expected to be completed in the coming spring.
Plans include a steel-framed structure that will provide 1000sq m of warehouse space – more than doubling the size of the business’s existing facility – enabling it to increase its stockholding significantly.
D.W. Nye managing director Rex Nye said of the plans: “Our expansion reflects the growing success of the business and the continued support from our loyal customers who rely on us to supply a vast range of materials and tools for their projects, from stone paving to timber. This is an important step in our 30-year history, and represents one of the biggest developments of our depot since we first opened our doors all those years ago.”
