Ed Byrne to star at DIY charity gala dinner

Published: 4 September 2008
Popular TV comedian, panel game and chat show guest, Ed Byrne headlines the entertainment at next year’s DIY gala charity dinner, at the Royal Garden Hotel, in London.
The DIY charity gala dinner – the annual fund raising event, now in its 10th successful year – takes place on Monday 19th January 2009 during the Totally DIY, Totally Tools and Totally Secure exhibitions at Earls Court.

The popular charity event is organised by the trade charity, the Rainy Day Trust, and is made possible by kind permission of the exhibition organisers, Brintex.

Charity president, Ashley Leboff, said, "We are very excited with the unusually high take-up of early bookings. To date, Ronseal, Dulux, Liberon, Calor and PPG have all taken up Gold Sponsorships."

Last January's dinner raised £33,000 for the trade charity, making it the Rainy Day Trust's biggest fund raiser of the year. The Dinner includes a champagne reception, three-course meal with wine and a full evening's cabaret.
Ticket prices are £120 per person or £95 per person for exhibitors at the 'Totally' Exhibitions.
Exclusive sponsorship packages are also available.
