Eliza Tinsley moves warehousing to larger premises

Having outgrown its warehousing and distribution facilities in Wednesbury, hardware distributor Eliza Tinsley has relocated most of its products to a 120,000sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Brighouse, well placed for the motorway network.
The company has added an additional 10,000 pallet spaces and made a significant investment in stock earlier this year.
The move provides much-needed storage for the company's expanding product range of chain, rope, fixings, hook and loop and other gate hardware and fencing items. Products are supplied to the DIY, agricultural, building and garden sectors in both home and export markets.
In 2006 the Jain family acquired Eliza Tinsley and it became part of a global group that employs over 5,000 across the portfolio of companies.
Said ceo Rhythm Jain Saigal: "We've been building the business steadily ever since we took it over in 2006 and the warehouse expansion signals the completion of the first phase of the investment-for-growth plan.
"We have exciting distribution details with the major retail customers; we have a new IT system being implemented; new products on the way; and to back that all up, we now have the capacity to ensure our service and delivery is unrivalled in the UK."
