Next month's Glee exhibition is calling for entries into its New Product Showcase, hoping to find the next big thing or something with the potential to boost the profits of any garden retailer.
Glee organiser i2i says the showcase serves two important functions. All participants get the opportunity to have their latest lines displayed in an area of high buyer footfall - and the possibility of winning an award. And secondly, time-short buyers can see what's new in a matter of minutes within two centrally-located new product hubs in Halls 4 and 5 of the NEC.

Meanwhile, business guidance will be at the heart of the show's dedicated education programme, located within the Knowledge Hub in Hall 4. Developed in association with the HTA, the Knowledge Hub's seminar content has been designed specifically to arm retailers with a variety of tools to improve and build their business, as well as help them to identify key consumer trends for the year ahead.
In a change for the 2013 show, this year's schedule will feature a handful of hard-hitting sessions rather than the previous format of a full day's programme of activity. Key themes up for discussion include social media and how garden retailers can maximise its potential, how to make the most of multi-channel retailing and how to tap into the popular high street style of café culture to build an in-store catering destination.
Glee 2013 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from September 15-17.
