Everbuild doubles vehicle fleet

Building products manufacturer doubles the size of its fleet of branded articulated vehicles to meet European demand.
As part of a partnership with transport and logistics specialist, Walkers Transport, a further six Everbuild-branded wagons will hit the roads.
The 45ft-long, 28 tonne branded wagons have been added to the fleet to deliver pallets product to building merchants and DIY stores in the UK and to ports for global export.
Walkers, based in Morley, Leeds, is one of the North of England's largest hauliers and are part of the Palletways Network.
Everbuild explained that expanding the fleet will allow the company to further increase productivity by being able to load more wagons at its factory while other vehicles are on the road. Each of the vehicles is branded with product images from Everbuild's range.
Everbuild managing director David Seymour said of the move: "We have experienced a steady increase in sales in the past few months, particularly from the continent where European companies are benefiting from the lower value of the pound.
"We have worked closely with Walkers for a number of years and we are pleased to continue our relationship with the addition of the new vehicles.
"Expanding the fleet sends a clear message that we are confident that the building products market is proving to be robust and that the construction industry is using our products increasingly in the repair and maintenance of properties."
The company, which recently acquired the Feb brand of building products, has a turnover of £47million.
