Ewbank looks to the future

Published: 11 December 2013
The owners of cleaning product manufacturer and supplier, Ewbank, are planning investment in the company for next year to help it grow.
Following the acquisition of Earlex by the Wagner Group at the end of November, the Ewbank and Clarke Cable businesses will remain with the founding shareholders Julian Baseley and Tim Hopper and they plan to lead these companies into a bright new future. This includes substantial investment to take the brand into the next phase of growth and product development.

Ewbank has been providing cleaning solutions for 125 years. Since Mr Baseley and Mr Hopper acquired the company in 2003 the brand has completely updated its product range to include electrical floor care products.

Mr Baseley said: "Ewbank specialise in high value niche cleaning products designed for efficiency and reliability in and around the home. We are excited by the reaction we have received in the last two years and are looking forward to developing more niche products into the domestic sector and growing the Ewbank brand internationally."

Mr Baseley and Mr Hopper have also recently established a Ewbank company in the USA which has already secured orders for the Ewbank floor care range.
