Former B&Q boss Martyn Phillips has been named as Welsh Rugby Union's (WRU) new chief executive.
The 46-year-old Welshman will succeed Roger Lewis in the role and work alongside WRU chairman Gareth Davies.
Mr Phillips spent almost 20 years with B&Q parent Kingfisher, rising to B&Q chief executive, but left the business in 2013 and set up a consultancy business, Leading Edge.
A sports science graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University, Mr Phillips is a strong supporter of Welsh rugby.
