A small electrical fire broke out at the Marylebone branch of The Tool Shop last Wednesday night, causing damage to the main sales area.

Luckily, no one was hurt and the fire was extinguished quickly.

Director Vin Vara said: "Although this has hit us at a crucial time of the year, the fire has sparked team spirit, and staff have put all their energy and efforts into making effective use out of resources."

Teams from the other eight branches, all based in central London, have pulled together to clear the damaged stock and are working to prepare for the branch to reopen as soon as possible.
