As part of a five year growth plan, Sussex-based co-operative Farplants has strengthened its management team with the recent appointment of three new members of staff.
Andy Ward has rejoined Farplants as key account manager. He brings a wealth of horticultural experience on board, having previously managed a variety of customers and a very wide range of stock. As customers’ requirements evolve to become more specific, he is well qualified to expand Farplants’ future business.
Adam Rigarlsford joins Farplants as account technologist. He has a wide experience and a solid technical background from similar roles in fresh food production. His knowledge of year-round supply to leading retail chains will strengthen Farplants’ commitment to further improving quality, service and product range.
Alice Craven joins Farplants’ added value team as product designer. This is a newly created role to develop additional product ranges through the year to augment their highly successful and established Christmas offer. Ms Craven has previous product development and marketing experience from the food industry along with graphic design skills.
