Fiskars has announced the appointment of Karl Millergill as sales director for its UK business.
Mr Millerill joins Fiskars from premium consumer goods company Bloom Baby, where he has held the position of country manager since 2011 leading the company's growth with customers such as John Lewis, Harrods and Mamas & Papas.
In his new role he will report to Fiskars regional director for south west Europe, John Grayson, and be based at the company's Birmingham office.
Prior to this role, Mr Millergill held the position of commercial director for Curver and, more recently, was at Keter, a globally-recognised brand of plastic house wares and DIY products for seven years. He also spent two years as commercial director for Pyrex, part of the Newell Rubbermaid Group.
Mr Millergill brings to Fiskars a wealth of knowledge across DIY, grocery and homeware channels, having gained more than 20 years of sales experience at a UK and EMEA level, covering roles of increasing responsibility in retail, wholesale and web channels,
