Flooding causes garden centre fire

Published: 31 July 2013
Customers and staff at Fryers Garden Centre in Knutsford had to be evacuated this week after a fire started in an electrical cupboard.
The fire was caused by a water leak, thought to be a direct result of heavy storms in the area on Monday, which also caused a black out at the centre.

Two fire engines attended the fire and were able to put it out using dry powder. It is not thought anyone was injured during the incident.
