DIY chain takes on EGS and the7stars to replace its current agency in an immediate changeover.
Focus announced on Friday that it replaced its current agency Mediaedge:cia with two new media companies - EGS to take over communication planning and the7stars to handle media buying.
The changeover was effective immediately.
Focus commercial director, Penny Teale said: "The decision to split the planning and buying has been a strategic business decision. We undertook a review and found two suppliers who were better suited to meet our business needs."
EGS' Pete Edwards said: "We are delighted to be working with Focus and look forward to helping them drive effectiveness from their media budget."
