Focus DIY has announced the appointment of Penny Teale - who will join the company as commercial director on February 2.
She replaces Gary West who was initially brought in to join the Crewe management team in July 2007, but the firm has said he made the decision to leave the business 'to spend more time with his family'.

Penny brings with her a wealth of experience from Sainsbury's, Argos, B&Q and Homebase and works as a consultant to Focus at the moment.
