Travis, who has worked in the industry for ten years prior to launching the site, said: "It became clear that a gap existed in the market for a business offering clear, straightforward pricing, not biased or at the stores' discretion, just equal pricing for all tradesmen regardless of size."

Trade 1st has already achieved recognition after being approached by ITV's 60 Minute Makeover team who were keen to use their products.
