Furniture most popular with home and garden searchers

In November, 16.9m searches were made by consumers looking for home and garden-related terms on Google UK, with searches for furniture keywords the most popular.
According to the latest research by Greenlight, these made up 52% of all home and garden keywords, followed by decor, with 21%, homewares, 16%, and garden, 11%.
The most popular individual keywords, in order, were wallpaper, which was queried 246,000 times, DIY, beds, sofas, oak furniture, curtains, sofabeds, blinds, rugs and kitchens.
The most visible website was ebay.co.uk, reached by 50% of those searching. Second on the list was homebase.co.uk, seen by 37%, followed by amazon.co.uk, argos.co.uk, ikea.com, tesco.com, johnlewis.com, diy.com (B&Q), wickes.co.uk, next.co.uk, dunelm-mill.com, gumtree.com, wikipedia.org, debenhams.com, screwfix.com, asda.com, furniturevillage.co.uk, housetohome.co.uk, youtube.com and therange.co.uk.
Greenlight also looked at the most visible home and garden advertisers on Google during November, and found johnlewis.com to be top of the list, seen by 38% of online searchers.
Ebay.com came second, with 33%, followed by marksandspencer.com, amazon.co.uk, argos.co.uk, tesco.com, debenhams.com, diy.com, lauraashley.com, homebase.co.uk, screwfix.com, dunelm-mill.com, dreams.co.uk, wayfair.co.uk, ebay.co.uk, very.co.uk, houseoffraser.co.uk, made.com, dfs.co.uk, oakfurnitureland.co.uk, bedstore.co.uk, achica.com, harveysfurniture.co.uk, bedroomworld.co.uk, victoriaplumb.com, costswoldco.com, notonthehighstreet.com, victorianplumbing.co.uk, bathrooms.com and sainsburys.co.uk.
