Garden Centre calls for couples married in '82

Monkton Elm Garden and Pet Centre is searching for all Somerset-based couples celebrating their pearl wedding anniversary this March to come forward and help mark 30 years of trading.
The garden centre is calling for any couples who got married in March 1982 to get in touch if they would like to get involved in the special anniversary celebrations.
General manager Norma Moore said: "We are really proud to be celebrating 30 years of business this year and are keen to find people with 30th wedding anniversaries who would like to be involved in our celebrations.
"We will be choosing three couples to help us kick off our anniversary events. They will be invited to attend the official launch on Saturday, March 10 with our other VIPs.
"During the morning they will be presented with a pearl rose and will be asked to have a complimentary lunch for two in our Pondside Café."
The event will also include free entertainment, and the first 70 visitors will receive a slice of anniversary cake. It will mark the beginning of 30 weeks of celebration for the South West garden centre.
Anyone wishing to submit their name should write to Norma Moore by Wednesday, February 29, with proof of their wedding certificate.
