The Garden Centre Group has helped raise £21,143 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
Ninety-five of the group's garden centres across the country hosted a coffee morning on September 28 and offered customers free tea and coffee in return for a donation to the charity.
GCG head of restaurants Costas Constantinou said: "Our centres also took part in the event in 2011, raising £13,321. We're thrilled we have managed to increase our total to £21,143 this year. It represents a tremendous effort for all involved."
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's flagship event. Last year, 51,000 people raised a record £10m for the charity.
