Garden plastics supplier reports 40% sales hike
These were among the highlights of the announcements at the Garland Products sales conference held on August 22-23 in Solihull, West Midlands. Operations director for Worth Gardening Tony Dedman commented: "Against a background of a very cold winter, the achievement recorded by our team has been remarkable."

The firm also named its 'sales agent of the year' at the conference. The title went to Paul Whitnall, who covers the south east of England. In close second place was Andy Burton (south west region) and in third place Richard Foster (north east region). The Garland/Worth Gardening nationwide network has been strengthened further by additional sales agents in the south east and north east this year.

The family owned firm, Garland Products, is a division of Glendenning Plastics Ltd which was founded nearly 50 years ago. Garland specialises in the manufacture of plastic injection moulded products for the keen amateur gardener.
