Garden security tops the bill this summer
Three quarters of households are looking to make improvements on their gardens this summer, with 24% of people concerned about the safety of their property.

The findings follow a recent survey conducted by GoCompare.com, which revealed that gardeners plan to spend an average of £420 on DIY projects to remodel their outdoor space and 7% of those tasks are designed specifically to boost security.

Of those surveyed, 17% plan to erect or renovate existing fencing and gates, while 12.5% hope that investing in their garden will increase the value of their property.
