Three more garden market suppliers have joined the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) - Paroh, Bonnington Plastics and Globus.
Paroh operates from its purpose built office and European distribution centre in Birmingham, supplying garden retailers with six established brands - Kent Collection solar lighting, Matford Lavendar, Yellowstone outdoor adventure products, New York Gift, Active Living and Hilly's Kitchen. Established in 2010 Paroh is a global importer and distributor supplying UK supermarkets, department stores, DIY chains, garden centres, high street chains, wholesalers and independent retailers.
Bonnington Plastics has been trading for 45 years and is one of the largest importers of value for money gardening, DIY and housewares products in Europe. It has around 2,500 products warehoused in the UK and supplies multiple retailers, independents and internet retailers. It has its own office in China, a 250,000 sq. feet warehouse in Nottingham and an 8,000 sq. feet show room.
Since its formation over two decades ago, Globus has grown to become a dominant force in the hand protection industry, with gardening gloves just one of its many high quality protective products. It is privately owned and has headquarters in Manchester with a regional operation in Dubai.
BHETA's DIY and garden sector director, Paul Grinsell commented: "It's clear that recent BHETA events focusing on retail engagement and networking are attracting companies and brands to join BHETA.
"This is brilliant for everyone as the wider our range of categories within garden, DIY and housewares the more we can appeal to the major retailers as a source of really good business development opportunities."
