Key overseas buyers of garden and pet products will meet British suppliers at the next Gardenex and PetQuip Meet the Buyers event.
It will be held in Brasted near Sevenoaks on Wednesday, June 17.

The garden product buyers are from Gärtner Pötschke, the leading German online garden shop; ACM Agrocentrum, a Polish importer/distributor of hobby greenhouses sourced from the UK; and US import/distribution company World Source Partners.

The pet product buyers are from Musti ja Mirri Oy, the leading pet chain in Finland; and Polish distributor Azan spj.

Meanwhile, the latest initiative of the Gardenex association in the North American market has brought export sales rewards for British suppliers of garden and leisure products.

Eighteen suppliers exhibited their latest products in the Gardenex-organised British group at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas earlier this month.

Amongst those showing was La Hacienda, which secured orders from the US and Canada and teamed up with a new distributor for the US and Mexico.

G Plants also received around 30 solid enquiries from US and Canadian retailers and distributors for its flower and vegetable seeds, gifts and ornaments. And VegTrug returned from Las Vegas with 50 enquiries and potential new distributors for its products.
