Gardman has announced the appointment of Helen Edis as the new category project manager, and Jon Watson as the senior national accounts manager for its B&Q account.
Mr Watson was previously national accounts manager at Westland Horticulture for six years. He and Ms Edis, who formerly held the position of national accounts manager at Intergreen, will be responsible for the delivery of the existing business at B&Q as well as developing new sales opportunities.
Jon Watson said: "I'm looking forward to working with the B&Q team, ensuring that we provide excellent service as well as innovative products and fantastic promotions."
New category project manager Helen Edis will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all the processes required for the B&Q account. "My aim is to streamline and simplify the systems to make sure that our service to B&Q runs smoothly," she said.
Gardman director Phil Tushingham added: "It goes without saying that our aim is to provide an all round top quality service to all our retail customers, but as B&Q is the biggest retailer in the UK, it means that we need a dedicated team to look after the business."
