"Oh I do like to be beside the seaside" is the second clue released by the GCA in its competition to guess the 2014 venue of its annual conference.
The GCA, which used to run its January conference at the Heythropp Park Plaza in Oxfordshire, is still keen for full and associate members to submit their guesses. The first 12 people to correctly guess the venue will receive a bottle of champagne in their room at the conference.
GCA interim chief executive Iain Wylie said: "We've had lots of guesses for our competition so far but it's not too late to submit your prediction. Both full and associate members are eligible to enter the competition."
More than 300 delegates from garden centres across the UK, including independents and clients, are expected to attend the GCA conference next year. Mr Wylie added: "As always our conference will provide delegates with pertinent information on key aspects of the garden centre industry to assist members in achieving their business goals.
"The information shared will focus on a wide range of topics, including merchandising, marketing and management."
The association has posted a photo (above) of the new venue to provide guessers with an additional visual clue - this can also be viewed on the GCA's
news blog page or on its
Facebook or
Twitter pages.
