George Lines becomes division of Lords Builders Merchants
With a history exceeding 60 years, George Lines is led by Mark Bone, who will now join Lords and continue to manage George Lines as a separate division within Lords Builders Merchants. The existing team will also continue to work with Lords and the enlarged business. George Lines will also trade under the same name.

Lords Group CEO Shanker Patel commented: "I have known Mark Bone for many years and our businesses share the same culture of putting our customers and colleagues first. George Lines has a tremendous reputation within its niche sector and we are delighted to have the opportunity of joining this business to our existing builder's merchants in London."

With infrastructure construction forecast to grow, Lords says it is seeking to capitalise on being one of the only independent builder's merchants with a civils speciality in London.
