B&Q Asia ceo tells management magazine he'll consider his options over the summer.
Steve Gilman, B&Q Asia ceo has told business magazine, Management Today he remains undecided on this future – and will come to a decision on his sun-lounger.
Featured in the 'If I had to start again' article, he said that as he still feels 'connected' with Asia he fancies taking up a 'few part-time roles, but at a less hectic pace'.
"I've never taken a break before," he told the magazine, "so I'm going to take the summer off, sit on my sun-lounger, contemplate the meaning of life and decide what I want from my future."
Mr Gilman who has overseen changes at B&Q Asia for 13 years, added that he enjoys China, the culture, and its people.
"They will do anything to develop their knowledge and grab an opportunity, and I feel very at home with that energy," he said.
