GIMA has announced it is to be a sponsor of the annual Industry Awards 2007 Garden Equipment Award, to be held in London in May.

This year's Awards, which is the 20th, and produced by DIY Week, Hardware and Garden Review, and Housewares Magazine, is also being sponsored by BDC, Decco, DIY & Garden Show, Exclusively Housewares, GfK, Home Hardware, Koelnmesse, Mica, Nigel Wright, and Stax Trade Centres.

Neil Gow, GIMA director said: "We have so much excellence in our industry why not puff our chests out, be proud and tell people how good we are.
"The Industry Awards are a great catalyst for doing this and give the opportunity for some self promotion and profile raising."

The Awards, which highlight the best of the best in diy, garden and housewares, will be held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday, May 11.
