The rain didn't stop 96 keen golfers from taking part in this year's Garden Industry Manufacturers' Association's charity golf day.
The fourth annual golf day teed off on Wednesday, June 4, at theTelford Hotel and Golf resort in Shropshire.
The 18-hole course was tackled by 24 teams of four golfers, with the team from Haws Watering Cans coming out triumphant.
Mr Forthergill's Seeds, the winner of the last two competitions failed to defend its title and came fourth.
Second place was taken by Boughton Loam and Westland came in third.
After the competition, the golfers enjoyed a drinks reception and an evening dinner hosted by ex Nottingham Forest, Leeds and Everton footballer Duncan McKenzie.
GIMA director, Vicky Nuttall, said: "The weather certainly didn't stop everyone from enjoying the drinks reception, the delicious food, prize draws and entertainment."
Funds raised at the event are being split evenly between industry charity Greenfingers and the President's Choice charity, Thrive.
The final amount raised will be revealed at the
GIMA awards dinner on July 17, for which tickets are still available.
