Cheshire business partners Duncan Pratt-Thompson and Richard Greenhill have this month acquired Global Garden Solutions Ltd (GGS), a leading supplier of premium resin garden storage and furniture.
The GGS core product range is manufactured by Suncast in America and GGS holds an exclusive distribution agreement for the UK. New owners, Mr Pratt-Thompson and Mr Greenhill - who have both worked at home storage firm Scott Brothers for a number of years - have stated that it will be 'business as usual', as they plan to retain the current UK team and the existing Suncast products.

They plan to expand the range and sell the products on a direct dispatch basis nationally via new and existing relationships with national and independent retailers.

Mr Greenhill commented: "Having developed long-standing, trusted relationships with retailers across the UK in the homewares sector, the acquisition is an exciting opportunity to replicate this success in the garden and leisure market.
