Grafton Group has acquired Crescent Building Supplies, an independent supplier of building materials trading from four branches in Ruislip, Hillingdon, Uxbridge and Maidenhead.
The outlets will be integrated into the Buildbase division of Grafton Merchanting GB, widening the Buildbase coverage across the south east.

Along with its merchanting operations, Grafton Group owns the Woodie's DIY chain in Ireland.

Grafton Merchanting GB will be investing in its four new branches, expanding the stock range and introducing Hirebase and Electricbase to further meet the needs of local tradespeople.

Buildbase is the UK's fastest-growing builders merchant. The acquisition of Crescent Building Supplies increases the Buildbase network to 200.
