Grosvenor receives GCA Excellence status 12 years running

The garden centre on Wrexham Road, Belgrave was named as a Garden Centre of Excellence for a record breaking 12th consecutive year.
The results are audited annually by the UK Garden Centre Association (GCA), with members judged on the quality of products and departments, as well as people, service and surroundings.
"This unequalled recognition from the GCA underpins our efforts to not only maintain but to also improve the experience we offer here at Grosvenor," said md Iain Wylie.
He added: "Garden centres must provide standards of excellence to be accepted as members of the GCA. Awarded to the top 10 centres in the country each year, it is a great achievement for all the team here at Grosvenor to be chosen as Garden Centre of Excellence - especially as we are the only Garden Centre in the UK to have achieved this honour for 12 successive years."
Commenting on awarding Grosvenor with the title for the 12th year in a row, GCA chief executive Gillie Westwood said: "We were delighted to present Grosvenor with this award. Not only do they continue to offer an admirable level of knowledge to their customers, they never rest on their laurels, nor take the award for granted. Each visit highlights to us exactly how much they continue to achieve with even greater improvements year after year and their continued success in the annual audit is a great testament to their efforts."
The centre was also recently chosen as the national winner of the Green Community Award for its work on environmental issues within the community.
"Grosvenor's impressive community work made it a clear winner," said Mark Long, director of 'Colour your Life', which sponsors the award. "The Green Community Award has particularly tough criteria that need to be met for the award to be given. Only 12 businesses nationwide meet this criteria and Grosvenor was clearly the 'best of the best'."
