Orchid expert and RHS gold medallist Chris Cannon to take up role from February 1.
Mr Cannon is a Royal Horticultural Society gold medallist and has more than 30 years' experience of growing and orchids. He founded Deva Orchids in Pen-y-Ffordd near Chester in 1988 and ran the nursery for 21 years.

He said of his new role: "I'm delighted to be assisting Growth Technology in the North West and I will be able to pass on my expertise to any existing and new customers. I already host huge Orchid Days for the company nationwide to offer plant lovers tips and advice on how to get the best from their orchids."
