Häfele launches support programme for kbb sector
Published: 10 August 2020 - Neil Mead
Häfele UK has launched a new dedicated package of industry leading support for kbb retailers and manufacturers, in response to feedback from customers who shared their industry concerns as a result of Covid-19.
Available to existing and new customers, the Häfele Here to Help programme is designed to help the kbb sector increase sales and enquiries, as well as deliver on projects on time and on budget despite the financial, operational and logistical challenges presented by the pandemic.
To help Häfele customers who may require extra support to plan future projects with confidence, the package includes a price freeze on all products for the rest of 2020. It also includes a 50 per cent reduction to the order value to qualify for free delivery, dropping it from £100 to £50 until the end of September, with next day delivery available on orders by 3pm.
Additionally, Häfele has brought together a number of its existing added value services to make the design and specification process, as well as the order and installation of products, as easy as possible for retailers, showrooms and manufacturers. Its Technical Team are also on hand to offer advice on choosing the most suitable solutions from Häfele’s vast range of products to meet the requirements of any project or budget.
The free-of-charge Lighting Design Service allows any kbb studio to advise customers on how to illuminate their kitchens and other rooms, giving them the opportunity to upsell lighting products without the time and technical capabilities required in-house. On top of this, businesses can also take advantage of Häfele to Order, a bespoke manufacturing and packing service that allows customers to order products to their exact size and quantity, saving time on site. Lighting through the HtoO service can even be cut, assembled, tested, packed and labelled, so the fitter never has to worry about missing a part ever again.
Last year Häfele launched the Kitchen Planner to its network of Studio partners on its consumer facing website Ideas for Living. Particularly apt in the current climate, it is designed to help make the initial briefing between the studio and consumer more effective, by allowing consumers to virtually design and configurate different spaces and designs in their own home. With a unique focus on the storage and internals of kitchen cabinets, as well as the layout and overall style, it helps deliver more information and guidance to the consumer and therefore the studio, saving valuable time, right at the start of the process.
Natalie Davenport, Head of Marketing at Häfele UK, said: “We know it’s a challenging time for many of our customers who are having to navigate new ways of working with social distancing, health and safety rules, and in some cases fewer team members to support with the day-to-day work.
“We’ve spent the last few months speaking to our kbb customers to see how we can support them, all while making changes to our own business to enable us to work effectively and safely, so that we’re here to support our customers getting back to a new normal. Whether businesses are looking for technical, specification or design support, we’re here as an extension of their team and can provide all of this and more.
“Ultimately our aim with Häfele Here to Help is to support our customers to secure projects and continue to grow their businesses. Whether we can help them refine their plans so that they meet their customers’ changing budgets, or find ways to improve the overall design and aesthetic of the project to maximise customer satisfaction, we’re here to help.”
