Henry Squire gets tough with new Vulcan padlock range

Published: 10 October 2016

A tough new high security range of everyday padlocks called Vulcan has been introduced by security specialist Henry Squire, together with new packaging.

Named after the ancient Roman god of fire and metalworking, this high performance combination and key operated padlock range comes in a vast range of body widths and hardened boron steel shackle types. The Vulcan combi range is easy to use and fully recodable in 4 and 5-wheel versions with up to 100,000 combinations, making them ideal for all-round home security such as storage, sheds, garages and front gates.

Designed to reflect Squire’s premium brand status for ‘toughness guaranteed,’ these padlocks are supported by the independent crime fighting charity Crimestoppers. New look packaging also makes it easy for consumers to make the right choice of security. Squire has categorised its ranges into three distinct themes – Squire @Home, @Work and @Leisure. And its own security ratings have been simplified too.

All the security products come with a personal 10-year guarantee as standard. As an eighth generation, independent family-owned British lock manufacturer since 1780, Squire’s experience in lock-making is unrivalled with the highest quality, performance-led products at competitive prices. Technological innovation is its trademark, producing leading security solutions to world-class standards for the home, for business and on the move.
