Strong sales encourage arts and crafts superstore chain to increase the rate of its store roll-out programme.
Hobbycraft has announced plans to roll-out eight new stores in the 12 months to February 2010, as opposed to its usual schedule of just four a year.
Its latest financial results revealed a total sales increase of 24.2% for the 24 weeks to August 9, with like-for-like sales up 10.3%.
As part of its expansion plan, the arts and crafts retailer will open five new outlets before Christmas in Aberdeen, Harlow, Hull, Solihull and Thanet.
