Home Hardware appoints new head of buying

Home Hardware Southwest has announced that Jim Chadwick has joined in the new role of head of buying.

Mr Chadwick, who started in his new role on Monday, November 2, has considerable retail experience in the DIY and home industry, having worked at The Range for the past 17 years. Prior to this, Mr Chadwick worked as a buyer within the wholesale and merchant industry.

Home Hardware chief executive Martin Elliott said: "We are delighted to add someone of Jim's calibre to our buying team. His experience will be invaluable in developing our own label ranges, our direct shipment business and helping us with our continued expansion."
