A successful one day training event held at Home Hardware Sctoland's Ayrshire head office gave attendees a crash course in all things colour - from planning schemes to interpreting psychology and language.
Attended by many Home Hardware members and shop managers, the July 4 event began with a morning course on colour scheming. Dulux and Cuprinol provided the training in colour psychology, the Dulux language of colour and how to increase sales.
Attendees were also able to try out their hone colour co-ordination skills in a practical session, enabling them to bring their new talents back to their stores.
The afternoon session included Cuprinol Product Training, a course designed to reduce complexity and provide information on the number of products that will address specific project solutions. This was intended to give the retailers vital expertise on product-based solutions so as to be able to better respond to consumer queries.
Home Hardware said its members and shop managers found the training "very beneficial" and said it was "sure that it would help with customer retention and also drive sales of many products."
