Home Hardware store changes hands

Published: 20 November 2014
Christel Struckmeier has retired from running Arbroath’s premier hardware store, Barclay Ross.
The store will still remain open for business and will continue to be a part of Home Hardware
(Scotland) Ltd, as two of her staff members are taking over ownership.

Jacqueline Watson has worked at Barclay Ross for 13 years and Agnes Gibb for three years, so the store is in good hands, says Home Hardware Scotland. Christel is confident that they will continue the store's tradition of excellent service and high quality merchandise from leading brand names.

During the first week of the changeover they gave customers a free raffle ticket with every purchase.
Customers had the opportunity to win many fantastic prizes - which were all donated by Home Hardware (Scotland) Ltd.
