Homebase launches electronic decorating voucher
Homebase has launched a new electronic decorating voucher to aid social housing providers.

The new electronic voucher will be issued to the local authority blank, ready to be activated with the amount required.

Any change is loaded back on to the card so the organisation can be assured that the money they issue is only spent on home improvements. Similarly lost and stolen vouchers can be cancelled immediately.

Steve Cooper, marketing manager said: "As well as all the security benefits we are also able to offer weekly reports of how much money has been spent on the issued cards giving total peace of mind.

"Tenants buying from Homebase will be able to purchase anything from paint brushes to wallpaper to improve their homes."
