Lincolnshire business to shut its doors for the last time next month after more than 100 years of trading.
Hutsons Cookshop in Wide Bargate, Boston has announced that it will cease trading at the end of June.
The cookshop began trading in 1900 when proprietor Richard Hutson's grandfather purchased Holland Bros. ironmongery business.
The company has operated successfully since then. However, Mr Hutson explained: "With my wife's ill health and my daughter's wish to spend more time with her family, we have decided to cease our retail trading."
He also offered his thanks to Hutsons customers and suppliers for their support over the years.
Hutsons will hold a closing down sale to clear stock.
Mr Hutson stressed that another family business, Hutson Signs, run by his two sons, will remain unaffected by the cookshop's closure. It will continue to operate from 65 Wide Bargate.
