The winners of the 21st Industry Awards were unveiled at a lunchtime ceremony in London today.

The Industry Awards 2008 saw companies from across the UK receive a well deserved pat on the back for all their hard work, continued dedication and high quality initiatives to drive the diy, garden, and housewares sectors forward.

A wide range of innovative and exciting companies, projects and products were highlighted at a lunchtime presentation in the Nine King's Suite in London's Royal Lancaster Hotel.

Entries for the Industry Awards always contain some surprises and this year was no exception.

Products ranged from pest control to a countertop ice cream machine.

The Awards presentation was hosted by the BBC's Louisa Preston and was ably supported by the comic duo Raymond and Mr Timkins Revue.
