The Industry Awards names comedian to lighten the mood at this year's event.
Winner of the BBC New Comedy Award, Rhod Gilbert is the comedian at the Industry Awards 2007.

Mr Gilbert, who's comedy cv includes appearances on television and radio, draws on the ravages of growing up in mid-Wales – including storms of biblical proportions (in the height of Summer), and the menace of improvised Buckaroo using ferrets.

Hailed as the Industry's finest show, the Industry Awards celebrates excellence in the diy, garden and housewares sectors.

Reflecting the diversity of product on offer, the categories include: cookware and bakeware, decorative products, diy products, garden chemicals and fertilisers, garden equipment, garden tools, hand tools, power tools and accessories, and tabletop products.
