Industry Awards secures celebrity compere
The Industry Awards, the UK's biggest social event for the hardware, garden and housewares market, is fast approaching.

The compere for the prestigious lunchtime event has been revealed as award-winning Welsh comedian, Rhod Gilbert, who has also previously hosted Britain's Best Retailer Awards.

The 2009 event will be held on May 15 at the impressive Sheraton Park Lane Hotel in the heart of London's West End.

Attendees will enjoy a bucks fizz reception, followed by a superb three-course meal, the awards presentations and entertainment from one of the top names in comedy.

For more than 20 years, the Industry Awards has brought together hundreds of retailers, wholesalers, suppliers and manufacturers to applaud the cream of the year's new products...products that will help drive the market forward in the coming year.

The awards lunch is a superb opportunity to entertain key customers and reward colleagues. A table for 10 costs £1,395, with individual places available at £145.
