The International Home and Housewares Show has been a Chicago mainstay for more than 70 years. Organisers are currently assessing whether the trade show will remain at the McCormick Place convention centre or move to rival venues in Orlando or Las Vegas.
The show attracts around 60,000 visitors and generates $75m in spending. The 2010 show will be held March 14-16, with the McCormick Centre booked until 2012.
