Irwin says 'thank you' to tradesmen

Irwin tools held its most successful National Tradesmen Day at the end of September to say 'thank you' to the trade professionals, working for their customers.
Throughout September, the Irwin team visited tool fairs and worksites across Britain, giving away thousands of free tools and gifts to tradesmen, in recognition of the work they carry out all year round.
The day took place all over the country, with specific focus at Toolfair Elex at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, where the team gave away over four thousand Irwin tradesmen packs, which included pens, water bottles, and free tools.
They also held associated events in the lead up to the day itself when the team visited over 30 worksites around the UK, surprising builders, plumbers and electricians at work with exclusive tool giveaways and promotions.
Irwin's senior channel marketing manager, Paul Jakeway, commented: "Supporting and raising awareness of the contributions made by the nation's tradesmen, is something that we at Irwin are highly committed to. And investing our time and efforts into helping encourage and motivate the tradesmen of tomorrow, will help keep Britain's industry professionals at the top of their game."
