Jane Lawler leaves Bayer Garden

Head of marketing signs up for same role at the UK garden and leisure company, Gardman.
Jane Lawler is to take up the position of head of marketing at Gardman when current marketing head, John Stratford, retires.
She will work alongside Gardman founder and chairman Paris Natar in a strategic marketing role.
Ms Lawler has worked at Bayer Garden since it acquired pbi in 1999 where she held various roles across the company.
She expressed her sadness at leaving, but welcomed the opportunity to work at Gardman, a company which is looking to grow – organically or via acquisition – as well as move into new product areas and expand overseas.
"I'm looking forward to applying the skills and experience I gained from working with my colleagues at Bayer to a completely new and exciting business challenge," she told DIYWeek.net
In January this year, Barclays Private Equity acquired a major stake in Gardman Holdings Limited in a deal valued at £85 million.
In August, it opened a 'super showroom' in Peterborough.
The 10,000sq ft-plus facility, which includes five meeting rooms, lets the business provide a year-round showcase for its ranges.
Ms Lawler will join the UK garden and leisure company at the end of October.
