JML has purchased two Sky channels to boost its direct to consumer offering
From May 28 JML will be running its 'JML Direct TV' on channel 631.

JML's current channel, 657, will be retained and re-branded as 'JML Extra'.

JML is well poised to take advantage of these acquisitions having recently moved its sales call centre to Belfast.

It has also brought its fulfilment and customer services in-house over the last month.

JML Direct TV will be promoting much of its core range and will also highlight a variety of new product offerings and show formats.

The second channel, Channel 632, will provide international content. The channel name for 632 is yet to be confirmed.

A spokesperson said the purchase of the channels will not have a detrimental effect on the retail side of JML's business. He added that JML Direct TV will highlight many of its customers.
