Department store chain secures two further sites in Swindon and Tunbridge Wells, ready to open this autumn.
The new stores, which will see a combined investment of £16m, are scheduled to open in autumn this year - taking the number of John Lewis at home stores to four.
John Lewis opened its first at home store in Poole last October, with the second
on course to open in Croydon this summer.
The latest additions to the at home portfolio are set to create around 350 new jobs across Swindon and Tunbridge Wells.
John Lewis managing director Andy Street said: "Our property team has been hard at work researching suitable sites for our 'at home' format and we're thrilled our next shops will be in Wiltshire and Kent."
He added: "We'll continue to trial our John Lewis at home format in 2010 as we believe there is a really strong opportunity to grow our business in the home and electricals sector. We know our competitors have a much higher level of coverage in the UK and our smaller format shops will give our customers convenient access to John Lewis products."
The at home format focuses exclusively on furniture, furnishing accessories, electrical and home technology, as well as fashion, beauty, nursery, and carpet ranges. The stores occupy around a third of the size of a typical John Lewis department store.
Head of format development Tim Harrison explained; "We've learnt a lot from our Poole opening and our research has shown that the new 'at home' shop has helped our business expand its customer base. We have also shown our ability to deliver a high level of customer service in a smaller format, which is the ultimate test."
Home sales continue to stay strong for John Lewis - up 21.8% for the week to May 8. Gifts, decorative accessories and indoor furniture performed well for the chain, while textiles and cooking and dining were up around 20% over the seven-day period.
