Department store chain opened the fourth of its new format stores last Thursday in Kent.
The 40,000 sq ft store opened on Thursday, November 11, with pupils from the local St Matthews High Brooms (CE) Controlled Primary School joining branch manager Gaby Armstrong for the official ribbon cutting.
The outlet, located on Kingstanding Way, off the Longfield Road in Tunbridge Wells will focus exclusively on furniture, homewares, furnishing accessories and electrical and home technology. According to the company, it will stock enough duvets to stretch over half the length of the Longfield Road, more than 1,500 mugs and 171 different varieties of cushions.
Customers will also have the benefit of a café, 161-space car park and the John Lewis click and collect service. The store employs 190 John Lewis partners.
