John Lewis products available for collection from Waitrose

Click and Collect service is rolled out to an additional 21 Waitrose branches, meaning shoppers will now be able pick-up John Lewis products along with their groceries.
The move allows customers to purchase from the 130,000 products available on the department store's website and arrange for delivery to a nominated Waitrose branch. Next day collection is also available on orders placed before 7pm.
John Lewis first launched Click and Collect in its department stores in February 2009 and over the past year has successfully trialled the service in two Waitrose branches; Hexham and Tonbridge. The Click and Collect service now accounts for around 20% of johnlewis.com orders.
With only 28 full line department stores and two John Lewis at home shops in the UK, the latest Click and Collect expansion will see John Lewis extend its reach and increase its presence in new regions of the UK. According to the group, currently only 59% of UK households live within a 40-minute drive of a John Lewis department store.
John Lewis head of multi-channel Simon Russell said: "We're thrilled to be working with Waitrose to bring the John Lewis Click and Collect service to more shoppers. We recognise that our customers' shopping habits are changing and we are committed to providing them with convenient ways to shop. The extension of the Click and Collect service to include an additional 21 Waitrose branches offers flexibility for customers who don't live near a John Lewis department store."
